This has been an exceptional year for UnitedHealthcare Global. They've launched a new strategic alliance with QLM Life & Medical Insurance Company Q.P.S.C (QLM) to offer local and international coverage in Qatar and have recently announced a new collaboration with Qatar Insurance Company (QIC, QIC Group) for locally compliant solutions in the UAE. They've also implemented biometric verification using fingerprint or facial recognition for their member portal and apps, adding an extra layer of security, and introduced two new wellness resources—on-demand mindfulness from Calm and financial wellbeing resources from BrightPlan—embedded in every plan to support members' holistic health.
These achievements, along with an unwavering commitment to high quality customer service, were recently recognised by the industry, with UnitedHealthcare Global winning the Best Group International Health Insurance Provider at the UK Health & Protection Awards 2024. This marks their second win in this highly competitive category, also taking home the honours in 2021.
