IMG Welcomes Sophie Cummins as IPMI Regional Business Development Manager in the UK

International Medical Group® (IMG®), has announced Sophie Cummins as the Regional Business Development Manager for the UK and Rest of World within the international private medical insurance (IPMI) segment of IMG. Sophie joins the IMG team with nearly 10 years of experience working in the insurance and travel industries.
Sophie will be responsible for driving growth within the IPMI segment of IMG’s business, which includes annually renewable, long-term coverage options for individuals, families, small to medium sized groups, and corporate groups. Based out of IMG's Redhill office, Sophie will be managing a team of sales managers while also preparing IMG’s brokers for the expansion of product offerings in 2023.
“I am excited for the opportunity to be joining the IMG team to help grow IPMI business in the UK, Africa, Asia, and beyond,” said Sophie. “With my previous experience in insurance and healthcare, I’m looking forward to building new and strengthening existing relationships with IMG brokers.”
Prior to joining IMG, Sophie held sales roles at Saga Insurance Services, Gap 360, and AXA Global Healthcare—where she first served as an International Account Manager and was later promoted to International Broker Sales Manager.
Sophie has a strong passion for traveling and previously did a two-year working holiday visa in Australia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Communication from Cardiff University.
