APRIL Group Continues Expansion and sets up in Dubai

The APRIL group announces that it is taking a new step in its international growth strategy and is setting up in Dubai to offer its international health insurance solutions to expatriates and residents of the Middle East.
A few weeks after setting up in Germany, APRIL is thus continuing and accelerating its development with the desire to provide close support to its policyholders and the intermediaries who advise them.
APRIL International now offers all residents and expatriates in the Middle East [1] international health insurance solutions including a third-party payment service. These offers are available for individuals as well as for company employees, regardless of the country of destination and the duration of their stay outside their country of origin. Choosing an APRIL solution systematically implies access to all digital tools, including the multi-award-winning Easyclaim application, as well as assistance platforms that can be reached 24/7 anywhere in the world.
To make this move a success, APRIL International has chosen to rely on the expertise and network of partners of SALAMA Insurance, a long-standing player in Dubai and leader in Takaful insurance solutions in the region.
“Residents in Dubai are covered by compulsory health insurance which allows them to access care via public and private medical structures. However, this local coverage is not always sufficient to meet the sometimes very high cost of care. Our new international health insurance solutions, fully compliant with local regulations, offer residents and expatriates of the United Arab Emirates easy access to care through a direct billing system, the support of our team of medical experts and the all of our digital services," explains Romain di Meglio, CEO of APRIL International Asia and the Middle East.
“We have the ambition to become a world-class insurance distribution champion: the creation of our office in Dubai is a new step in our international expansion and a first step into the high-potential area of Middle East. says Eric Maumy, Chairman of the group.
